Oh noes, an opinione! ... You like something. Okay?
You're not CRAZYCRAZY into it but it does endear itself to you and you find it fun and entertaining. It also looks nice.
Seeing a lot of people branding likers of said something along the lines of "drooling downs-syndrome idiots" isn't very fair.
And yes I get that there are a lot of people that are kinda crazy about it, but c'mon.
We're on a site. Dedicated to ANTHROPOMORPHIC animals. Bitching about a thing full of anthropomorphic animals.
I never really liked the old thing that much. Yeah I had a couple, but they always looked derpy to me. And the gem-eyed ones freaked me the fuck out. The new thing? It's much more pleasing to my eye. I find the animation smooth and delicious, the details fun and the ideas lovely.
YES it's a thing for children, but ffs how many people like OTHER kid's things out there? Seriously.
And yeah I know ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE JOURNALS but seriously I start feeling REALLY uncomfortable when I see people being so damn immature. It makes me feel ashamed to like it, as if it's some horrible taboo.
I just like ponies, guys ;___;

FA+

Anyway, people will lump everyone in to a group to suit their angry needs. What matters is that you know where you stand, y'know?
That being said, I see both sides of the argument. I'm enough of an iconoclast that I don't want something I find abhorrent thrown up on the front-page. However, it's also a light-hearted jab at the whole fad itself. The whole thing has spiraled out of control, and really goes to show the maturity level of the site as a whole.
Honestly, I find the banner hilarious and clever.
Boggles my mind, I tell you. Good on you for liking it - pleased you get some enjoyment out of watching it
Though when the person who made the banner uploaded it, the fans were all decent. The haters, though, oh goodness they were just dumb as a post.
I sometimes feel that there is a cosmic Newton's Third Law in response to any display, but that the nay-sayers try to bandwagon the "you are deviant" routine just to feel as if they fit in more with the crowd that rejected them to begin with for being furries, and to punish the furries that made them feel like they were being left out.
To thine own self be true.
