Just started on your next quarter-century, huh? :)

Congratulations! Sort of reminds of an Garfield joke: “Birthdays are like calendars, they remind your days are numbered.” And trust anyone, growing old may seem annoying at times but is preferable to the alternative.

On a side note, sorry, but 26 doesn’t seem that old to me. If you feel old despite being too young for it, perhaps that’s because you’ve done a lot with your life?

It's more seeing how people have changed.
Like, someone who, when I was a teenager, was in second grade.

And he's now entering *college*. And it just sort of smacks me how much time has passed.

I know I'm not *old*. Gods willing, if I got my great grandpa's genes, I'm probably *just* about a quarter of the way through-and perhaps I'm even less through than that! But, still-I guess it's just as I said. The passage of time feels odd sometimes.
