While I am glad to be home, I honestly feel that sharing a table with
flinters was probably the best experience I had at any convention I have attended to date. Besides it is nice to relax once you get home.
I didn't get as much art done as I have had in the past, mainly I opted out on this year's art jams, but also I wanted to get as much rest as I can when I am sharing a room with 6 people. I haven't had to do that in years but still very different when 2 of them are con staff, 1 of them was a strong fur suitor, and the rest of us kind mingled our own ways. So sleep was very hard press this con.
So while almost all of the dealers, including myself were not really ready to open up on Thursday, it was an interesting experience. Not a whole lot of people and we all really got 4 more extra hours to sell some stuff. I am not certain if those hours did help in the long run, but Friday improved as well as Saturday and Sunday. So over all I beat my last year sales, which is great and with my thanks to Flinters for helping me out.
mephis Came and visted up a few days before the con and stayed about a day and a half after the con. He really was a hoot to hang about with, even though after the con I kinda holed up in my room and slept as long as my body was letting me able to. Still, he got me interested in a card game called "Red Dragon Inn". Very fun to play with when you have a group going.
I definitely have to give a shout out of thanks to
f3nixwolf and
rocketfoxie for car pooling us all down to the convention... despite that we all were packed like sardines to and from the con. :P
Now to work on those extra commissions, some comics, and planning for the possibly of attending to FC this January.

I also seriously appreciate your help with the badge sales. You saw how busy those can keep me and having you there to, well, pretty much take over the entire process really helped out. I hope it gives you some ideas of things to do as well. I'm sure we can come up with an inexpensive product offering that you can do at cons to help generate more sales and customer interest.
