Well, more than just a grandfather. He was the closest person I had to a dad. On Sept 19th at 4:08am, he breathed his last breath. This is why I haven't been posting. Was debating whether or not to make a journal about it. Had to travel over a thousand miles to lay him to rest in his homestate..no way we were going to let him be burried in this inbreed redneck state (no, I will not mention the state name)


The important thing is that he was laid to rest. Also, I have plans on moving back to Texas eventually - my home. I'll get to visit my grandfather's grave when I want if I moved out that way. I swear..I felt his presence after the funeral..was scary, but also comforting. It was also nice to see family again. One of my cousins that I just met is like a female version of me, it's crazy. So much catching up to do cause where I'm at now, there is jackshit here. From trying to find a stable job to the lack of family, it's time to leave. Plus I loathe the locals..an annoying mix of rednecks, illegals and wannabe "gangstas".

So yeah..forgive my lack of posting art after my return to FA. I had no idea he was going to pass away so soon. :l Hopefully it's understandable if I take a mini break from art. Just give me some time to let the creative juices flow again.
