Oh god :< My computer used to do that sometimes, so I know that feel. I know there's a program which lets you make a separate file for every time you save, so even if you have a million files afterwards, you can still sort out the ones you want to keep and (hopefully) not all of them will be corrupted. Admittedly I think the program is for Photoshop, and PC at that, but I bet there's an opencanvas version.

I don't know, there's not many opencanvas tool available. I guess I'll just have to train myself on another program :/

use painttool SAI :D its never crashed on me yet
