Thinking too much: do I really enjoy drawing porn?

I was going to write a long rantish post here but decided to say "fuck it" and ask it straight:
How open are you about your drawing hobbies? Say, you're starting to get to know someone, how can you explain you draw adult material from time to time without coming across as a pervert?
._.
What?

I'll talk about my non-porn stuff first.
Keeping secrets isn't anything new. "I draw porn" is a minor secret, I'd say. It would be different if you had a side job as a webcam whore or something.
Lots of deals with you. XD
(I'm a desert fox. The icon is a Halloween pairs icon. See KatVixen for the other half. :) )
adult stuff is also a form of art. Well technically it depends on the view point of one
Kinda the same how not to explain things:
"I draw porn. I put really explicit, juicy stuff on paper that is sooooo not-appropriate for kids and probably there's a bunch of people out there who wank to it and have to clean their keyboards."
"I wank off sometimes. I especially like to just kinda roll the tip between my fingers and sometimes I get that little toy and hump my pillow and pretend it's..." (ahem)...
Potentially a better way:
"I draw well enough that thousands of people love my work and watch for it. I draw porn too, but hey, my fans and I like sex on occasion. Who doesn't?"
"I wank sometimes, but honestly, there are two kinds of people in the world: Those who admit to wanking off, and those who lie that they don't."
Nothings a big thing unless it's made into a big thing. :) If they act shocked, you can hopefully be genuinely surprised.
"Would you be this shocked at the author of a steamy romance novel?" ("But that's not the same!" "No kidding! The stuff i draw isn't half as bad as some of the things little old ladies love to read about!")
However if I got a partner that was also an artist. I'd tell them so I could get lessons.
"[Immy], come drink with us."
"Soon, I've got to finish this chibi orgy."
"We have conversations no one else can have..."
But I don't tell anyone that I do anything really. Mainly because if someone knows you can do something, then they expect you to. And I'm lazy.
(Hid last comment) .. Like the subject ... Perhaps some things are better left unsaid.
if they are open about it, then I'll go more into detail, but even at that point, I'm reluctant to show the REALLY NAUGHTY PICS
I would say it is up to you to find the right time if or when to tell someone about what you do. At first, someone may judge you for it early on, I think women tend to be less comfortable with it (I am talking outside of FA and hentai sites of course, those you meet in real-life) so there is a higher element of them being judgemental about it. Take your time and just approach the subject gently, since it is part of who you are and it will have to come out eventually however much or little. If you leave it a while, it means the person is less likely to get a bad idea about you and flee. So try and time it right I guess.
People don't shock me at all and haven't done for years now. The internet got to me when I was still really young, and I got over the shock of finding out about all sorts of fetishes and strange characters out there. If someone says they LARP or draw porn or, I don't know... like to have sex with dolls or something I'll probably ask them about it rather than shy away from it. That's just my nature.
i guess its the artist choice whether they want to draw it or not.
and I know better to publicize my hobby of drawing naked dog women ;D
