I hate to jump on bandwagons but it really is nice. I think the lack of an official Music category is all it really lacks.

FA is good, but has a couple of BAD admins, and a clause in the TOS that throws issues with local laws: specifically evidence tampering if a harassment case shows up. but i just lurk, and don't post art.

its mostly the problem that ANY evidence could get deleted, and that case is only one sad example.

and i follow a couple of artist that are almost routely harassed by the admins b/c they work in 3d and the admins hate 3d.

As to this harassment of 3D artists, I don't know one way or the other, but I find it highly unlikely. There's more to the story that you're not telling, isn't there?

i'm not referring to that post, only to that fact that posts can be deleted and thus evidence tampered with, making it messy to get into court.

one 3d artist is Jolene (http://www.furaffinity.net/user/jolene) read thru some old journals, its the same admin you linked. been following her for a while, and she got SHUT DOWN for a while because of dumb admin shit. she keeps her stuff in order, conforms to TOS, and still gets shit.

I dunno, man, I'm not seeing it. I see complaints about reasonable AUP restrictions, and I see that she uses Poser (which IS frowned upon for a few reasons), but no harassment.

depends on definitions of reasonable. but meh. i just hate seeing a legit artist shut down because of admins, poor word choice in AUP/TOS, and similar shit.

should be standard practice really: either A) run TOS, AUP, and similar past an appropriate lawyer, or B) don;t use freaking Legaleese so that every basic user can understand and abide by the rules.
