So, Made a Noobish mistake and thought I could make it work for my provider.
Turns out, you cannot. Theres some talk about an RUIM Card making it possible, but frankly, I have no idea how to handle them.

Anyways, point being.

I have an 8G iPhone 3g just sitting here collect metaphorical dust.

Its works great, but does nothing for me, and has minor "natural" wear, but only on the back case. the screen is like new.

If anyone is interested, I'd be willing to sell it pretty cheap, as it does me no good :P

If anyone has any legit ideas on transfering a GSM phone to a CDMA provider, let me know in the comments.
