 shoulung and I went to this small Transformers convention in Indiana yesterday (the 15th). I like the small cons for a more relaxed experience. There were a few disappointments, such as not arriving early enough for a panel I wanted to attend, and the art show/contest being cancelled for low turnout (Last year I won as the only entry in my category,so it's understandable), but overall a nice, if tiring time. I got to speak briefly with actor Garry Chalk, well known as the voice of Optimus Primal from the Beast Wars and Beast Machines television shows, as well as a handful of anime Optimus Prime incarnations. I was tempted to buy some expensive items, but I ended up spending relatively little, taking home a handful of small toys and a few books instead, including the convention comic.

Good times, I'd go again.
