Skyrim!

Skyrim is so awesome!
I managed to aquire it about a week early on the 360, so I've played a few hours more than most of my friends.
I had the PC version preordered, and when that arrived I did some research and found out how to transfer my savegame from the 360 to the PC.
I've missed a few achievements on steam because of that though, which is slightly amusing.
I don't have the Citizen achievement even though I do own a house, and I don't have the Daedric Influence achievement even though I regularly wear the Masque of Clavicus Vile when dealing with merchants.
Interestingly I DO have the Apprentice and Adept achievements, although they both list as having been unlocked at exactly the same time. I guess that's the time when I first loaded my imported save.
Also, steam's log of how long I've played only counts the time I've spent on the PC version, and not the 37 hours I played on the 360 before importing my save.
I've been playing as a Khajiit (Of course), and I take something of an unusual approach to melee combat.
Khajiit have a racial ability called Claws that lets them deal 15 damage when attacking unarmed, which is more than most weapons you'll find at the start of the game, so from very early on I've just been punching and slapping my opponents instead of using swords or axes or hammers.
The really good bit though is that I'm also a Heavy Armour user, so it didn't take me too long to aquire the Fists of Steel perk, which grants the ability "Unarmed attacks with Heavy Armor gauntlets do their armor rating in extra damage."
After quite a few hours working in the forge I've not trained my Smithing up to level 100, and aquired all the smithing perks, so I can create and improve Dragon armour, so now I have Dragonplate gauntlets with an armour rating of 58, meaning that when I punch an enemy it's like I'm hitting him with a weapon that has a damage rating of 73!

Apparently even an armour class of 322 can't always save you when you've only got 100HP.
I figure 400 magicka is enough for now, since I've got items that give me more than 100% increase in magicka regeneration. From now on my level up points are going into HP so I can survive a bit better.
Too bad you couldn't make it on Saturday. Glad to hear you survived your spider bite though!
