Is it someone claiming to be you/the character or someone who just took the art and made it into their own character? The latter happened to me. I confronted them in a private message and reported them. It was gone the next day.

Claiming to be the character (and ofcourse using the art with it).
What I wanted to point out is that this isn't ME who's playing as her. I don't really care if people take my art to another artist as a reference for building their own character, that's inevitable.

I almost jumped out of my skin for a sec - I USED to go by the same name years ago, but that was the only similarity. Whew. Still, sadly very common occurence... egh. B(

I've been impersonated before, not my characters but ME. It's creepy. Who the hell would want to be me lol xD but man, I find it baffling that someone who wants to RP is not even creative enough to make something themself. I mean, the logical thing to do would be to just make up a simple character for your own use right? That's so strange XD.

If someone RPs as Lily I'd be a bit uncomfortable, cuz like you I wouldn't want people thinking that they are ME RPing. I mean it possibly might affect someone's reputation in some way if they are well known.

Why someone would bother doing this is confusing. It's really not hard to get online tail without it.
