Sexah Classic Rock...

General
I have the misfortune to be regularly scheduled at work on one of our "theme" nights, and my particular brand of torture is "classic rock night", heh. Don't get me wrong, I love classic rock. I listen to a variety of things that could be considered classic rock on a regular basis. I play air guitar to AC/DC in my underpants in the living room. I put on makeup with a melancholy Beatles tune warbling in the background. I lace my boots to Pink Floyd. The difficulty is finding classic rock that I feel inspired to strip to at work, and furthermore, hassling with a DJ all night about which "classic rock" songs we can agree on. So, instead of drinking my breakfast of Low-Carb Monster and Vicodin while watching DVR'd House episodes, I'm drinking my breakfast and making classic rock CDs to take to work. I can just hand them to the DJ and he can play whatever he wants (as long as it's from one of the CDs, heh). The first compilation:
1. Reunion - Life is a Rock
2. Doctor Hook - Cover of the Rolling Stone
3. Bloodhound Gang's cover of Along Comes Mary (I'm including decent-sounding covers of classic rock tunes)
4. The The - Dogs of Lust
5. Siouxsie's cover of You're Lost Little Girl
6. Neil Diamond - Brother Love's Travellin' Salvation Show
7. Eric Clapton - Cocaine
8. Jim Croce - Bad, Bad Leroy Brown
9. U2 - Sweetest Thing
10. David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust
11. Warren Zevon - Werewolves of London
12. Tears for Fears - Mad World
13. The Beatles - Rocky Racoon
14. Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
15. Rick Derringer - Rock & Roll Hoochie Koo
16. The Cars - Drive
17. Genesis - I Can't Dance
18. Queen - Fat Bottomed Girls
19. Billy Idol - Flesh for Fantasy
20. Concrete Blonde - Everybody Knows
21. Tom Petty - Don't Come Around Here No More
So, that compilation turned out fairly mellow... I think the next one will have to be more rockin'. Although I prefer more mellow tunes at work... hard to say. Bleargh. Not... awake... yet...
