Really Good News

Well for those who know me personally, you know that my car is a pretty lack luster car. Bog standard, as is everyone's first car is.
Well I've paid my dues and its time to get me a new one.
The cool thing is, that technically I'm not going to be paying for it. It's a work car, their buying my old one for one of the other guys to get to and from work and said that I could pick a car to replace it. Good thing is my work is a family business, so my boss is my dad.
Which is another advantage, because my dad knows the owners of a few car dealers. He only really sprung it on me this afternoon after work. Instead of going straight home, he asked me what car around the $20-$30,000 mark, I thought was best. I'm a bit of a fan of Mitsubishi, so (And if you live in Australia you'll know exactly what car I'm talking about) I said I thought the Mitsubishi Lancer was a decent car.
It was funny because we were going to a Mitsubishi dealer, where my dad is good friends with the owner. It was cool, we took the car I liked the look of to a privately owned cemetery, where I could give it a good drive without getting into trouble.
It was cool, the place had a nice long straight, and it was new as well so there wasn't anybody around. The Owner is just like me and surprisingly encouraged me to give it a good run (My dad did too which was odd).
I have to say it is a really nice car. Nice smooth gearbox, responsive steering, comfy ride, and all the extra's you could want.
I'm really happy with it. i mean I didn't mind my old car, it was just getting too small. Before I was temporarily disqualified from driving (Only 2 months left YAY!) I was doing loads of deliverys. And many of them were not small. I'm talking about loudspeaker boxes the same height as me. Amplifiers, blu-ray players, you name it really. Basically, my car quickly ran out of room, not just for the equipment, but occasionally for me too LOL.
Anyway, in all I'm really happy with it and can't wait to get my license back so I can drive it.
Thanks for reading people!
