The other one on the driver side is the cover for the brake fluid and the little one on the passenger side is vent for the gas tank.

Are these directions for an OEM gascap or an aftermarket gascap? Will any special modifications need to be made to the vehicle if an aftermarket gascap is installed?

Looks like it was harder to get the gas cap out of the bag while holding a camera than to install the cap on the DeLorean.

Interesting, I didn't know that the gas cap was located there. I still have yet to see a DeLorean in person :(

technically DeLoreans aren't painted! All that is is Stainless steel but you can (I wouldn't) paint them

eh, i think one would look pretty great in red :P
im pretty sure theres a clear coat over that stainless steel though.
i always thought those things were FF cars, MR is just awesome

Not quite.

Ford GT is MR.

Delorean and most Porsches are RR.

If the engine's center of gravity is behind the rear axle, it's rear engine.

If it's in front of the rear axle it's mid-engine.

The distinction is notable as it can change the characteristics of the car significantly.

They look pretty good in red but in most cases if you see a painted DeLorean theres a good chance it was in an accident. You can't use body filler to repair dents since theres no paint on the car and stainless steel panels are almost impossible to repair. The only solution is to fill it with body filler and paint the whole car. Also there is no clearcoat on the car, its just bare stainless steel.
