Announcing the End of the World Party!

I'm sure its gotten out to some of you already, but this year will be the last Christmas ever. According to Doomsayers everywhere, the world will end mere days before Christmas 2012. While that does relieve you from having to stand in lines and rack up huge balances on your credit cards, unfortunately it might leave some of us with very little to look forward to.
And so we intend to have one last get-together to reign in the apocalypse. On December 21, 2012 we will be having the (Furry) End-of-the-World Party in Rochester NY. It will be an all-night (or at least "until the world ends") all-furry event ON APOCALYPSE DAY itself. (Not just any random day in 2012 or the day some random Pastor thinks the Rapture might start).
There is a venue for a few hundred furs. There will be an all-night dance (or until everybody gets tired / the world ends) with an open bar. Unlimited free cocktails for all who are staying at the venue. The greatest laser & light show in the fandom (better than AC's), and more. Other features will be announced over the coming months.

I see no foolishness. The foolish person is the person who'd sit at home alone watching southpark reruns when the world ends. You don't wanna be that guy, you know?
You can continue to follow the cycles out, but they stopped making celestial predictions at the end of this "age". I assume they must have guessed that 3000 years of predictions were enough. (I mean, they had to stop somewhere, right?)
But I digress. I'm still gonna have a wicked party, and I'm still going to be up on my room, dressed in floral shorts and shirt, in the middle of a freezing cold winter, saying "Bring it, you galactic bitch"

lol /humor off. I dunno what I';ll be doing. probably sitting there waiting for it to come crashing down with a pint of wine or scotch. lol
Today I think we'd be looking at something more like a comet, asteroid impact, rogue planet, micro black-hole, cosmic ray burst, change in the output of the sun, zombies (always my favorite), supervolcano, etc etc etc
honestly a super volcano would be a horrible way for a planet to die. and zombies is highly unlikely when we have so many damn guns in the world lol.
