I hate diets

So, my foster mom recently decided to go on the South Beach Diet, and to clear away all possibility of breaking the diet, me and her son and doing it as well. Its not that i don't want to diet, i mean, i'd like to lose some weight, and being on a diet and regularly going to a gym could really help. But the no carbs is seriously kicking my ass. I've started having stomach pains after 6 days on it, and i've been waking up off and on in the middle of the night. I'm also having a harder time going to sleep, and my insomnia is just aiding to the problem.
basically on this diet, for the first two weeks i can't eat anything "white" basically. but there are other things. the list is as such;
BEEF:
Brisket (what?)
Liver (eewww)
Other fatty cuts
Rib Steaks
POULTRY:
Chicken, wings and legs
Duck
Goose
Poultry products, processed
(and i don't really eat any of these poultry anyways)
PORK:
Honey-baked Ham (I shall miss you delictable honey and ham combination)
VEAL:
Breast
(and i don't think i ever wanna even try veal @.@ i always imagine some sexy bull furry is mistaken for a calf @.@)
CHEESE:
Brie (Bree? i can't has bree?!)
Edam (wtf is that anyways?)
Non-reduced fat
VEGETABLES:
Beets (eww)
Carrots (damn, i can't lure rabbits anymore...whats another yiffable creature i can capture?)
Potatoes, white (which means no french fries or anything made from potatoes)
Potatoes, sweet (which means i can't make my favorite mashed potatoes)
Yams
FRUIT:
Avoid all fruts and fruit juices in Phase 1 including:
Apples (but how doez polar bear know what apples is?)
Apricots
Berries
Cantaloupe
Grapefruit
Peaches
Pears (but...but i liek pear)
STARCHES AND CARBS:
Avoid all starchy food in Phase 1, including:
Bread, all types
Cereal
Matzo
Oatmeal
Rice, all types
Pasta, all types
Pastry and baked goods, all types
(this part sucks, it basically means i can't eat at any fast food place, as well as i get to piss of some chefs in a restaurant)
DAIRY:
Avoid the following dairy in Phase 1:
Yogurt, cup-style and frozen
Ice cream
Milk, whole or 2%
Milk, soy
(but it doesn't say anything about "man made milk" ;3 )
MISCELLANEOUS:
Alcohol of any kind

GOD THIS DIET SUCKS >.< i don't recommend it, i actually recommend that if anyone says you should try it, you should force feed them a pound and a half of bread...
Well, other than the diet, i've been good. My AP Comparative Government seems to be the only class i have taken in school that is actually a bit challenging. The reading is actually above a 6th grade reading level, which is amazing for a public school book. So its the only actual class i have ever studied for. ever. and for taking this class, i get 3 units towards any college i want to go to ^.^ so i liek it a lot.
I also found out i like to argue with people sometimes, like, not over stupid stuff like "you took my shoes!" heh, but like with Theology (Religion), and Politics, and societal views on society. So i've decided that when i grow up...i want to be a MEMBER OF THE BRITISH PARLIMENT! it would be so perfect, a couple hundred men in one room, in really close quarters, arguing....with everyone...it just so fun doesn't it?
