Wow, I've actually been more artistically productive in the past two weeks than I've been in years. No, seriously. I'm on a role guys! I guess I've just finally got a good rhythm going to my life, so now I can start working art back into it? I don't know, but I still think it's pretty awesome.
Seeing everyone constantly post in their journals about the cons they're going to really makes me want to go to Anthrocon this summer. I haven't been since 04.. I had a blast when I was there, it just hasn't been a priority of mine.

Everyone who reads this, and who would find such a topic interesting, should submit their own Top 10 Albums. The basic rules are:
1) The bands don't have to be insanely popular,
2) The albums don't have to go in order of how good they are. Just list what you like.
3) Also, make sure to list one of each, since this is only a op 10 list.
1. The Beatles = Abbey Road : In my opinion, this is their greatest, most "complete" album. I swear, listening to it is like having sex. There's the climax, the afterglow, everything you could want in music. I don't know what I'd do without it.
2. hide = Psyence : Easily one of the best pure rock albums of all time.
3. Dream Theater = Metropolis Part 2 - Scenes from a Memory : ..No, really. You read that right. I fucking love this album, I could listen to it on loop and not get bored with it. It's just so epic!
4. Rasputina = Frustration Plantation : I have a really hard time chosing my favourite Rasputina album since I'm such a rabid fan, but I think this would be the one I would pick. Zoe was such an amazing influence on Melora and her music, I was very sad when she left.
5. Miyavi = Miyavuta - Dokusou : I think this is Miyavi's best album so far. There's just so much depth to the music on this one, plus who can resist one of your favourite men only with an acoustic guitar? Yes.
6. Tally Hall = Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum : Tally Hall is such an amazing band, and their album is an absolute work of art. I listen to it pretty constantly.
7. Nine Inch Nails = The Fragile : To this day, this is sometimes the only thing that can make me feel better when I'm anguished. As much as I love Year Zero, I still think this is Trent Reznor at his best.
8. Mew = And The Glass Handed Kites : Like with Rasputina, I have a hard time picking my favourite Mew album for various reasons. But this is definitely a brilliant album, and another that I really could listen to on loop.
9. L'arc~en~Ciel = Smile : While most people don't consider this their best, this album holds a lot of sentimental value for me, and it's one of my favourite things to listen to while driving on a summer day.
10. Cursive = The Ugly Organ : I'm not really a huge Cursive fan, but I will always be madly in love with this album. It really is a work of art.
