Different antidepressants work for different people though. It might take some trial and error before you find the right one :[

Honestly talk therapy is the best thing you can do. Antidepressants don't fix the problem, they just make it slightly easier to manage. The trick is finding a therapist you really click well with. Trust me: it can give you a whole new lease on life :)

One of the things that gives me mad anxiety is talkin to people about my problems. Maybe it would work if I keep trying. But last time I went to a therapist, I told him nothing. Plus I almost barfed. ;>.> It was awful. That and I have a fear of people seeing me cry. Last time somebody caught me crying, it was my best friend and it was because I was at her house in her room with no where to go. I don't mind crying if I'm happy though. It's weird.

I mean, I'll think about it. But I've had these problems since elementary school, so I don't know how well it would work.

...and all of that is completely normal. It can take a long while before you're comfortable sharing your problems with someone, but when you finally reach that point you will be amazed at how great it feels. I know how hard it is to allow yourself to appear vulnerable or emotional: you wouldn't believe the tough guy act I've had to put on for the world since 10th grade! Hell I STILL have to wear that mask almost 8 years later! It's a bit of a slog, but it is so worth it!
