Good question actually. Depending on my productivity, I spend a good 4-5 hours on a single drawing, so... 20 hours if I'm really productive?
I can't spend entire days drawing like I used to in the past now that I have a 9 to 5 job :p
Women with curvy hips and asses. Breasts.. I'm not entirely picky about size, but to draw them ridiculously oversized is a pet peeve of mine.
But most of the time I'm probably doodling male character faces on a scrap of paper when I'm bored...
- It probably has to be South Park, though frankly I don't watch that much television anymore. Also, I preferred the immature childish Cartman more than the current one who gets angry about everything and is too much of a little political adult.
Stuff like LOST never interested me, and I did see Game of Thrones (had to stream it online)...
There are some real downsides to getting television shows overhere, mostly because they need to receive subtitles. So by the time something airs here, it's been spoiled by the entire internet a week beforehand, if not longer. xD
1.) Foods... that's a tough one. Any specific dish, or...? Overall, I live meat. SUCK IT VEGETARIANS AND BEYOND! My favorite being spare ribs (marinated and the meat just baked just right to make it fall off the bone OH GOD I NEED A TOWEL NOW!), with a second favorite being "vol-au-vent". I also love chicken products.
2.) Movies... Hmm. I do enjoy fantasy, but even there I have my standards. Actually, it's hard for me to describe movies I like. I enjoy Dreamworks movies, I enjoy Disney movies (animations, not MOVIE movies, those just piss me off). I enjoy the cheesyness of 300, while hating hating HATING SuckerPunch. Seriously, goddamn! I know the plot is meant to suck (and seemed like a sexed up version of Pan's Labyrinth to me) and you're watching it for the eyecandy over the top action scenes and hot women (I found the main lead to be incredibly unattractive actually.), but even then it bored me out of my mind. The robot fight? Worst fighting scene ever.
They criticized The Last Airbender for M Night being bad at making action scenes? One of them was one long shot, with just the camera panning around the scene? SuckerPunch had that with the robot fight, except it was 5 minutes long and constantly filled with the Zack Snyder slowmo which was fun to watch in 300. It had a point there, it looked like the comic pages because of it. Here?... Ugh..
Anyway, I went offtopic. I obviously did not like SuckerPunch. I have a hard time deciding which movies I'd like to see based on my own. I just go with classic movies like Scarface and a majority of the Tarantino movies, to give an example.
I also like to laugh. Comedies are fine for me.
One thing I can say for certain: sci-fi does not interest me. See what I did there? I didn't write "doesn't interest", I said "does not" to emphasise the "not" :D
3.) Video games... That ones a bit easier. Again, mostly biased towards the fantasy genre. I've been a fan of MMO's as well. Fantasy singleplayer is fine, but it doesn't give as much of a sense of accomplishment if you can't play along with others to compare your abilities and progress.
Another big boon for me is games which have a very distinct visual personality. TF2 was the first one where I really started to appreciate this because they made such a big effort to create something unique. Same goes for Psychonauts, that one was also a favorite of mine.
Maybe one of the reasons why the Final Fantasy series doesn't really appeal to me visually. Yes, the graphics are amazing, but for the majority of the time it just seems they put so much effort into the tiniest little details and trinkets for their characters because they can.
But right now, I'm just looking for some games to have some fun together with friends without being required to spend hours upon hours in a single game. I'll probably end up into the MMO genre once Guild Wars 2 is released, though... :p
What's your opinion on Video Games and the industry itself?
Are you into roleplaying games?
Why do you draw furries?
Also, aren't you at your job right now?
- Hum... I don't really know, I haven't thought about that. I enjoy gaming, but I'm not entirely a fan how the current generation of gaming consists of continuously trying to improve upon an already successful formula. I know the industry is a booming billion-dollar industry, but overall the big publishers are forced to keep moving onto the safe assets. Call of Duty, Gran Turismo/Need for Speed... and leave it up to the indy developpers to be creative and try to come up with unique experiences.
I like roleplaying games where I feel like I'm part of a bigger world. Skyrim is good fun, so was Oblivion. No I didn't play Morrowind, that was before my time as a PC gamer and I don't want to play it now. It started with Neverwinter Nights for me, and on to World of Warcraft where I actually had the chance to roleplay as the character I was playing, and interact with those around me.
- I draw them because in the end, there's more variation to choose from.
- I am, but it's calm here and I'm sitting alone in a cold warehouse. Big whoop vanna fight about it?
-Not my problem as long as they keep me out of their drama. I don't know what they did to become popular, but eh... I'd rather focus on getting myself out of a slump than to focus on the life of an unreachable person. If that makes sense..
1. someone who has inspired you to draw stuff?
2. Do you like to read about something in particular?
3. Like any sports?
4. Lie sandwiches? if yes, what type?
1. I've been drawing since I've been in kindergarten, so I can't really say who inspired me to start drawing in the true sense. But early highschool introduced me to mainstream anime and manga, which I was "aware" of beforehand... but I had that nasty rumour in the back of my head which described anime as the "sick tentacle porn of Japan". But I wasn't really inspired by any particular person there.
Now when I really started to dig the better quality European comics, I suddenly had a more varied line of inspirations. Ludo Lullabi, "Sky Doll" by Alessandro Barbucci and Barbara Canepa, "Blacksad" drawn by Juanjo Guarnido (this one actually got me over my prejudice of anthro art I had before I started drawing it myself), Tarquin who has drawn "Lanfeust", José Luis Munuera which made me want to focus more on a comic-y drawing style, along with Marvin Clifford...
Ofcourse, also people like maxblackrabbit, who got me interested in drawing WoW related stuff back in the time, along with a further interest in anthro artwork.
2. I love reading Cracked articles about animals. Or things about animals in general. Except animal abuse, that makes me sad.
3. Nothing in particular, I never really interested me for sports. I've played soccer and volleyball, but the first one I left because of a knee injury, and the latter because I only served as a benchwarmer anyway, aside from constant strain on the previously injured knee.
I also don't have a favorite team I'm rooting for.
4. Two slices of Truth-bread between which is stuck a slice of a lie.

oh wait, wrong one.
The meaning of life is to one day let your spirit replenish the big Battery in the Sky.

Oh that right! If you rook at map, you can see!
