Is what you make of it. Be it you have someone to enjoy and share all its tidings, or you find yourself alone. The latter is what I will be looking at this year, even though most of 2011 was not as such. To save on drama and long posts I did have someone special, but how things tend to be that it can sometimes not last with them.

We wish it would for whatever reason it might be, things tend to fall apart. What you take from it, learn and what you experience can make you a better person or one for the worse. I feel from past endeavors that I have made progress. Being open more in some areas while still being that devoted and in most cases there. Unfortunately I never did get to spend the holidays with them and how things tended to become more of fights overall in the end, I can only think of how things were better when they weren't so bad.

I can still remember what I did for them to make it special in what gifts I got them, and how I got them. The happier times of the things we did and what games we played among other things. I only wish there was more of those memories and it's always hard when you part ways from others. It's something I try to avoid, but it seems more these days you get those that are close to you move on in different ways and it's very unsettling and heartbreaking.

This day however like every one before it can be a gift or a curse. Depends how you spend it and make it special. Keep those dear to you and spend time with them, try to make today more of a blessing. I will.
