does look like they're ramping up for a summer release
they've gone into crunch time, rapidly expanding the beta over the next 2 months and this huge flood of information.

I honestly can't wait

Release is this year. There is a rumor that the launch will be in the middle of May, this year. But it will be this year for sure. The Reddit guild will be called Test Guild Please Ignore. And I'm not sure if I'll attempt a Furry guild, only to see out ghost town a month later. Or just hit up the Reddit guild from the get go.

everyone can join multiple guilds so I doubt the furry guild would be abandoned.

We don't know for sure about the servers part. There was an AMA on Reddit the other day and the representative from Arena Net didn't have an answer for the server transfers.

no they have solidified it, he had no clue because he was in charge of 'Wuv-Wuh" specifically
but you can just visit another server whenever you want, it's just not considered your 'home server' so you can't queue up for PvP and such there
it's also how they're dealing with login queues
if there's too many people logging in your server at once and you can't get in
your character then visits another server, you can continue playing, level up and everything
then when your server clears up you get a pop-up telling you you can go home :P

forgot to add they did say you can transfer your home server for a fee
they just haven't decided what it is yet

they dunno about fees yet. Its still in talks it seems.

well the fee wouldn't necessarily be real money, it could be ingame currency
they want some sort of deterrent to people just transferring servers all the time

The most we know about character slots is 5 slots for alts. I tell ya though, with how epic it will be, I'd be happy to drop an extra 20 for 3 more character slots. I think arena net would deserve it

because yknow, waiting for 5 years is more than enough :P
