SUNDAY
Student union elections are next week. For a few weeks I've been pondering infiltrating them with random ponies because why the heck not? In 20 minutes I throw together simple election posters for the mane six - nothing too amazing - I only have so much ink in my printer. My housemates think they're funny.
I post them up on Reddit. After a slow first couple of hours it starts getting popular.
I also post it on UK of Equestria, a British brony site I joined earlier in the day. It gains a moderately popular response.
MONDAY
The Reddit post becomes the most popular thing I've contributed to the site, gaining 550 upvotes and 150,000 views. It's the second most popular My Little Pony related submission on that day.
I plan to post the flyers around university, but neglect to bring something to stick them up with (derp). I buy blu-tac on the way home.
That evening someone submits it to MLP fansite Equestria Daily, prompting discussions about which pony would make the best president, as well as other cabinet positions. EqD create a week long poll so people can vote on who would make the best president.
TUESDAY
I wake up to find a message on the UK of Equestria thread alerting me to the posters being featured on Equestria Daily. I take a look and laugh quite loudly in giddiness while still in bed. The post has well over 250 comments and a full five-star rating.
Tonight, nary two hours ago, I sneak around the mostly quiet campus and start posting ponies across the walls. I have to be swift and sneaky, making sure I'm not seen posting them up as I try and avoid the few straggling students and cleaning staff. I finish after half an hour, neglecting to poster two large blocks due to not printing enough flyers.
WEDNESDAY
The fun begins.

Also, Pinkie Pie just HAS to win.
Seriously, some time between 10pm and 10am someone printed off a bunch of posters with ponies and stuck them up around all the ones I put up.
It's freakin' me out, man.
