The title of this journal was taken from The Statesman website. Austin, Tx has been known for a slogan for a number of years now the slogan "Keep Austin Weird" and the one guy that made that slogan stand out was Leslie Cochran He was one of those people that would stand out in any crowd, mainly for the way he dressed. He was the many characters you'd find on 6th street, when any visitor to austin would talk about him you'd know. "Hey theres a homeless guy wearing a wedding dress riding a trike down the street" or you'd hear "Hey there's a guy wearing nothing but a gstring thong bikini walking down the street full beard and all OMG...." *smiles* When I was going to ACC back in 2005 I'd see him daily, got to know the guy... He was a pretty big character.

We'll miss ya buddy.. Austin won't be the same without ya
