Hah, that's awesome! I used to use that tune it for incoming text messages but it was obscenely long. I switched over to the Metroid Prime item acquisition since it was much faster and less of an annoyance for others. :P

How about METROID LIGHT BULBS?! Makes the room all greenish from the light escaping from inside a Metroid. :)

Hehe, I actually have that exact same tune from Prime, which just so happens to be set to text message alerts as well! :D As for calls, I got two different ones: The Corneria theme from Star Fox on the SNES and the Sonic Boom song from Sonic CD. :3 Took me forever to find them, but if you're alright with emulators and roms, go to www.emuparadise.me . I didn't get my Nintendo DS emulator from there, though.^^;

As for metroid light bulbs, wouldn't they be difficult to make with energy efficient bulbs? I was thinking like hundreds of LEDs for the nuclei. Ooh, another thought: Metroid Marbles! :D

At one point I used the main Metroid theme as a ringtone, but these days it’s more convenient to set the phone to vibrate instead of ring so it does not see much use.

I do appreciate your effort of sharing music (I am quite a big fan of video games music), but I have that covered already ;). I remember using Emuparadise way back then, when N64 emulators were all the rage.

Metroid chinese lanturns would be fantastic.^^ As for that site, I tried registering, but got a "Registration Denied" message. This same thing happened when I was researching Chozo Runes/English alphabet translations. Googled it, went to the Metroidbase site... And was told that I've been permenantly banned. At least, my IP address was. Thing is, I don't have an IP address because I don't have a computer (using my phone), nor did I even know about the site until I googled the runes/english translations.
