The inner fanboy in me is flailing about, but I must say first that it is your choice.

I know I would love to see a revamped "Roommates." As you know, that was one of my early FA addictions here and it was fun to read. You can see your growth and as author through the original, and I would love to see a version that is leaps and bounds better.

I'll admit that having to wait to read the end would suck, but it would be totally worth it. I do hope you take the time and choose to tackle this project. I look forward to whatever outcome you make, be it a new chapter one, or chapter 19(?).

Last I checked, chapter 19 was next up, yes.

Well, whether you post chapter 1 or 19, I will be eager to read. =3

For the record I thought that some of the Roommates stuff is some of your best work (granted, I haven't looked through Morph Class as the topic didn't interest me much but...)

Well there's just some really great descriptions in there, and really great characterizations. There is energy too. It's not constant throughout, but there are places that really shine, and I haven't seen that shine elsewhere. But I haven't read a Whole lot of your other stuff. >.>

Well, I really liked Roommates the way it is and I'm still thinking that it is one of the best things I've read so far. For me, the characters really seemed to be present and to be a part of the whole plot and not as they would have been thrown into it randomly.
I have no idea in which ways you want to change it, but if you redo it from start I will definitely read it "again"

And as it is for Sylderon, the old one is also on my list of things I want to reread.

Oh there are... so many things that I could do to make Roommates better. SO MANY.

But yeah, the old one is still up there for posterity's sake.

Then I'm really looking forward to the remake _when_ you make it :3

While I would love to read on, however, a revamped version could give much more insight, and more of a defined personality to each character. Not saying that they are bad as they are, but imagine how much more you could do for them now that you've got a few other characters under your belt.

Roommates is what made me start reading your work, and I liked it, and I still do... and, while I can't say I'm constantly reading everything new, I liked it better than Morph Class. Not to say M.C. was bad, not at all, but Roommates... it's just the way it is :)

I like plenty of your work... and among all of it, Roommates occupies a pretty shiny place as far as I'm concerned :P

I'm willing to bet that you dig Roommates over Morph Class because Roommates had a gay(ish) focus, and MC had a straight(ish) focus. Because seriously, the beginning of Roommates is *terrible* and I don't really get why people dig that. From a quality of work standpoint, I hold MC much higher over Roommates.

I love both works, I agree with yoou that from a technical standpoint morph class is a lot better, but for the average reader, the college student experiencing culture shock resonates closer to home, also the charecters in roommates are so vivid, and well developed that the reader connects with them on emotional level, and their universe seems more familiar. I would love to see a redone version of roommates, but I agree that waiting longer for that next chapter will feel like torture. So either or both is fine by me, I read.everything you post on here.

I still have a hard time believing all these Roommates fans EXIST. But yeah. I'm pushing more and more toward redoing it.
