It's referring to the posting rules. In this new pic Sammy is showing nipple bumps and I couldn't tell if that was a violation of the AUP. So "Just Do It" is the rule of the day.
I saw! The picture was very neat, I don't know how you managed to make those bumps but it definitely made me wonder more on how her bodysuit was made. :) It's a good picture, though. ^^
I wouldn't be surprised if someone decided that the new picture(s?) violated the AUP, or if the AUP get changed to explicitely state that they do, or even if the picture gets deleted for no obvious reason, just because.
But perhaps it's time to take a stand, too. There's nothing wrong with pinup, cheesecake and saucy fursuit pictures, and FA needs to learn to not allow itself to be manipulated by those with ulterior motives. (Easy for me to say, of course, when I don't have any such material to post myself and when I don't stand to lose anything.)
Thinking about it, I read a comment in the brony community recently that observed how remarkable it was that pony pictures become MORE saucy when you start putting clothes on characters that are otherwise naked. The same thing's true for fursuits, isn't it? Nobody seems to mind suits that are naked, but clothes are taken as a sign that there is something to hide. (A couple of years ago, at EF13 or 14, I overheard somebody expressing their discomfort for a fursuit wearing boxer shorts with little hearts on them for this very reason, for instance.)
But in the end, whatever sauciness there is is in the mind of the beholder, and posing in a swimsuit shouldn't be seen as anything more than harmless (literally!) fun. And in fact, I'm pretty sure that most non-furries (those that aren't made uncomfortable by fursuits to begin with) would have a much more relaxed attitude here and not be nearly as paranoid about this as (some) furries are.
Well, if winfox can post "Homewear" and not have it torn down over 7 months, that implies to me that *covered* nipples are ok, even if the coverage is translucent or shows texture. Winfox says it is because his picture is a fashion show, not a pron. I'm not sure if that is the pivotal issue or not. But I don't like tacky "pron" poses, so it shouldn't be an issue for me.
Besides, in public I see real women showing real nipple bumps almost every day. It's normal.
Taking a stand is not a solution - FA is being coerced by external entities that have nothing to lose. Things aren't going to get any better. But at least I'd like to know the boundaries in PRACTICAL terms.
Yep, clothed can be much sexier than naked. And while Sammy has no "parts" she always dresses as if she did have parts. Sammy is a very "realistic" anthro and doesn't follow most toon conventions.
Ah, yes, good point about Winfox. I still wouldn't be surprised if something happened eventually (AUP changes in particular, but also overzealous deletion of things that are NOT against the AUP as they're currently written), but let's hope for the best. :)

And that was my soapbox speech for today. :)
