OMG that is so real its scary. lol I've never been on working end of things like this but I've seen it and desperately wanted to slap the idiots up side of the head. I even carry my dishes back to the counter if I have time because I appreciate the service and good food. *hugs*

There should be A LOT more to that list than there is...

Sometimes I'm glad that I didn't spend as much time being a waitress in a restaurant and more time doing catering. Though catering can be so much worse.

But I've told all my friends "Never piss off the person who handles your food....I've done somethings...."

I'm actually tempted to make one of my own since I've been working in a restaurant for the past 4 years and I've seen my fair share of ugliness =/

Our local liberal paper did a story on this and it came out really really badass.

Every person deserves at least a moderate amount of courtesy and respect.

I honestly believe everyone in their lifetime should be a server of the food and beverage industry at least ONCE to learn what it means to be humble and to be treated equally. It would be a wonderful life lesson, everyone would be kinder & nicer to their fellow man...

but sadly such a wish will never happen T_T

I know the feeling. But like I am saying. You shouldn't -have- to treat servers better. People should treat everyone that well.

There should be so many more points to that but these were good ones. I don't know too many people who come in to eat 5min before we close :/ maybe that's just where I am.

When I use to work night shift at the restaurant, it wasn't unheard of for golfers (our frequent customers staying in the hotel) to come in 9:55PM when we close 10PM, and they usually brought a crowd with them. Thank God I work morning shift nowadays XD
