Archery! And other things

Heeeee! I have a bow! A 30 pound recurve, with all the fruit that comes with, arrows, arm guard, finger guides, and so on. Working on getting the target thing set up squee!
On a more serious note, however, for those in Australia, you may have noticed that the banks are getting their arses sued for fees charged, over drawn, late, and so on, and you may get a cold call from someone saying they are calling on behalf of Fair trades australia or something of the sorts, saying that they are getting your information so that the Fair trades can give you that money back, blah de day.
It is a scam. They will say that they are not, and will have details like your name, the bank you're with, your address. They'll even tell you the first 8 digits of your card. These numbers are generic, they tell what type of card it is, and who it's issued by, and will then ask you to complete the card details. Do NOT give out your information.
Your bank will never cold call you, and they will NEVER ask for your full card details. They are very persistent and irritating. I have just had a day of them being BLAH. I ended up being very very very rude and just banging the speaker part of my phone on the bench. A lot. Before hanging up on them. They called back, and got banged at again. Since they didn't take the hint the first time, and all. I also called my bank, and told them of it, but got the reassurance that my card is safe.
Either way, be very careful, never give out your information over the phone, no matter -how- legit they seem to be.
Gyah! *bangs the phone some more just to get it out!*
I hope you are all happy!
