Everclear is only a horrible suggestion if your intent is to ENJOY what you're drinking. If you simply wish to get drunk as quickly as possible, enjoy the burn!

Well I have a 16 hour field day gathering samples at Lake Okaboji on the 24th where we leave at 5am xD its gonna be like a drink or 2 at midnight Probably at Old Main

As someone that doesn't really like beer, might I recommend Leinenkugels Berry Weiss? Fruity, doesn't taste much like beer. Though if you have any trace of manliness in you, you probably don't want alcohol advice from the man that most frequently drinks Mike's Hard Lemonade :P

Woah where have you been? *hugs* I am not much of a drinker so I am not really a good person to tell you.

You should definately enjoy a nice glass of chilled white wine. It is a very relaxed drinking experience, and will be a nice way to introduce yourself to the flavor of alchohol. Make sure you drink a glass of water beforepaw, as white wine is known to pwn some people with a headache. Don't get drunk, cause that is a great way to ruin your body's appreciation of the flavor! Nothin sucks more than being incapable of enjoying one of the most pleasant dinner add-ons there is.
Oh and friend? I recomend only drinking if you are invited to with a friend, or as an additional part of a nice meal. Alcohol is a great and fun thing, but it is meant for enjoying with other food.. Just like most consumables are.
A gin and tonic should definitely be your second, they are great :3. Enjoy your birthday, silly wolf!
