After have installed one of these softwares, and if you're new in digitalart, I recommend to go to www.deviantart.com. On this site you can find many digitalart tutorials, brushes and others...

ALong with Photoshop there is also Photoimpression. A lighter version to Photoshop, but still has features worth looking into. Also there is SAI and Iscribble. However Iscribble(i think that is what it is called) is only online. You can draw with other people right online. I did it once before, but have not been bck up there in a good while.
