Love your story lines and art

I know this sounds weird, coming from a gay person, but i don't think you should cencor it for poses like the one trixie is in. I don't mean to sound as a girlhater or anything, but simply drawing her pussy like that isn't something any1 should find offensive =/. If you have more poses in mind, then yes, it's a good option, but if her legs are kept close, I see nothing wrong with it :)

I love your comics. And I find original life amazingly amusing! And strangely i relate to alot of the issues that are involved and I find it neat that problems are surpassed with so humorous ways! :) Keep it up!!

To be honest, I never expected to actually see any nudity, censored or otherwise. lol

I'm not sure the censorship is actually effective being pixilated; I tend to just fill in the blanks regardless and on a small screen I think it still ends up with the same implications anyway.

Thanks though for posting the uncensored; it works better I think and I can see how this still keeps the spirit of the PG-13 rating.

A month or so ago a strip had a guy talking about trimming pubs, weird folds of skin and anuses...so ratings above pg-13 has already been breached

Now while the vagina does go over the PG-13 rating (if the little crease is drawn,) breast are allowed in pg-13 stuff. Jay could have kept the nipples and not drawn the vag crease and it would still be up to code. (unless you go by non-official rules of thumb that came out after Show Girls side swiped the American Rating system.)

I wish you would have gone with the creative censors. Mosaic just makes it feel like an episode of Cops or some other trailer trash reality show. It would be corny sure, but it'd just look better and feel smoother. Hell, you could have fun with it and have one of the characters break the 4th wall and comment on how there are so many random objects at waist level or how Trixie's hair always seems to fall to her front.

Well, that's an association you've made in your mind that I don't share. I associate it more with watching a risque documentary on a non-premium cable network.

Scenery censoring feels comical and cheesy and leaves one feeling that the setting is overly convenient. Once or twice it's believable but anymore than that and you feel like you're watching a cartoon being hounded by moral guardians and soccer moms.

I think that it'll never get old, having random objects to cover up with. Sure, it's comical, :) but unless this is a dang serious moment, sure why not.

In anycase, I'll trust your abilities in what you believe is best for the censoring for your mainstream comic.

I'm opposed to censorship in any form, but I do understand that there are times when it is needed. I still like your work, regardless, so I'm not going to stop reading it just because it's being censored in certain places, at certain times.

Good thinking on providing the censored and uncensored versions, Fisk.

I think I would prefer to see the censored versions just simply not have the 'naughty bits' drawn in - a la Bugs Bunny - 'nothing to see here folks' - even without pants or shirt. Much less jarring to me, than to have pixelated blocks.

I prefer censored, but I think the mosaic is not very effective with black and white.

Thanks for posting the uncensored as well! Like some people, I find myself a bit against censorship. Something about trying to convince yourself that just because something is barely out of sight, that somehow makes it perfectly okay and acceptable, to be put out of your mind. Pretending it doesn't exist when it quite clearly does... I don't know, I find it strange. Like substituting curse words and thinking it's okay, even though everyone knows what words you were really meaning to use.

Anyway, I think I saw someone mention the other comical censorship you did in Better Days with Marvin at the party the girls were having. Did you ever post those strips uncensored? Because I'm sure I've never seen them. Any chance you might repost them? ^^

I am really glad you are making the non-censored versions available. Like you said, it's nothing overly racy or sexual so the content under the blur isn't offensive to me. The mosaic blur on the other hand is highly offensive to me. It's like someone spilling coffee on a painting or having a giant smudge in the middle of a pencil sketch. It just ruins the art IMHO to have these out of place distortions. I really wish we lived in a society where we didn't need to protect people from *gasp* pixels in the shape of a penis!
