Went to the CILFCO furry meet / bowling last night, had a really good time. met quite a few new folks ::waves to campbellkid and raidersonic:: and some cool furs i haven't seen in a while ::waves to dammit, mander, and syrix:: Me and Noodle ended up showing up to the bowling alley early to shoot some pool, and obviously noodle is getting better, because she actually won. WOOT to noodle :) talked to quite a few others whose names I don't remember(go figure, old man being forgetful again LOL) and bowled pretty good, actually managed to break 120 in a game. overall, good times with great furs. Hope to do it again soon.

I find it amazing tho that because i can bowl halfway decent in fursuit (about a 95-100 average in suit, give or take) that other people find that amazing......here i was thought i was suckin a bit, probably because i am normally about a 145-150 average bowler ::shrugs::

I came home and my oldest daughter, who was babysitting my little 6 month old, had her friend over with her for company while she babysat....no big deal there, but the friend was silly enough to "peek" into the tub with the fursuit in it while i was out of the room. When i walked back in, she had this look somewhere between "OMG that looks awesome" and "OMG what is wrong with you" looking inside the fursuit tub, but more the former than the latter I think. I think the idea of going out in public in a fursuit....was something she couldn't understand why one would want to(for lack of better term there), she did say that the costume itself looked fantastic. ::shrugs:: meh, too each their own i guess.

LARP events for me the next 2 weekends, then hopefully can do another meet sometime after that.
