For my permanent residency in the UK, I have to take a "Life in the UK" test bit first before I apply for permanent residency. It cost me £50 to book the test. If I fail this test, I can arrange for another one, but it will be another £50. I know people who failed it three, to four times. I was told not to worry if I didn't pass first time around, but as you can imagine, I AM! My test is on Wednesday. Wish me luck! I dun want to pay that much again D:
