They were here before us,
they will be here long after we are gone.
They are key to our origin,
they were key to our survival.

The animals of the earth,
the animals that gave us life.
The reason why we are here today,
the reason we are not all gone yet.

I give them my thanks,
as you should give them yours.
To all the animals that died to our hands,
thank you for feeding us so we could prosper.
