Calling all authors!

Ok all, it's been a week, but no one has signed on since the week had barely begun!
Here's the deal: First, there's no commitment. Signing up for this is suposed to be fun, not a chore. So if you feel like you won't be able to help out every time, don't stress about it. If you want to pass on a turn, all you have to do is pass it on to the next in line and note me so I know about it. That's it.
Second: You don't have to sign up for just one! If you want to be involved with more than one story, feel free to say so. I just phrased my last journal the way I did because I wanted to keep as many slots open until it was time to start as I could, which would give more people a chance to join in. Speaking of which, feel free to pass this little game on, starting up your own circle or inviting friends here. Even if you've never written before, I'm sure I'm not the only one that would be happy to help you out. After all, it's supposed to be fun!
So here we go. I'm going to start my first segment for each of these over the next week and send them off to the first in line on the 19th or 20th.
THE STORIES:
1. Faith and Family, Power and Pride.
A seasoned Wolf warrior is tasked by his dragon goddess with taking as many mates as possible and, along with his demigod son, breeding her an army of fanatical followers. However, the old wolf is about to be chalanged for dominance of his budding kingdom by his own blood.

2. Her Imperial Magesty's Virtue.
Shiara, the first Kitsune to achieve the fifth tail in a thousand years, absolute ruler of all she surveys, is faced with the most difficult decision of her life. To prevent a war that would destroy her empire, she must choose which of her rivals she hates the least to forge an alliance. However, tradition dictates a marriage to cement the deal, and her decision must be made before the next full moon. To make matters worse, the inner workings of her body are conspiring against her, and it seems that she may not be able long resist the clarion call of her womb.

3. Horse Play.
A young unicorn finds himself abducted by a wily dragoness to be used in magical experimentation. Although he initially finds the procedures quite agreeable, he soon finds things taking a somewhat disturbing bend.

A deep space exploration mission stumbles across an ancient alien device. Upon some serious examination, and some lucky breaks in translation, it seems the device is related to something called an "Alchemaical Diamond"; an item that is used to transform objects from one shape or substabce into another. However, when the device suddenly turns on, the crew must find a way to understand it's true function before the rampant changes, to themselves and the ship, doom them all to an icy grave in inter-galactic space.

THE RULES: (more like guidelines really...)
If you want in, just comment here or send me a note, and I'll add you. Second choices for storys count too if I'm ready to start and that one isn't full yet, or if your first choice is already full.
If you have a story idea you'd like to see done this way, send me a brief description like I posted above and I'll add it to the list. You'll also get to start a round off instead of me if you want. You can do this even if you're already signed on for another story!
Whenever a chapter gets started, the first person (me or otherwise) types up the starting segment and mails it to the next in line, who adds to it and sends it to the next and so on. Each segment should be at least 1 but no more than 5 pages, and should start with a dividing line of asterisks and a "written by" blurb. Each participant has up to a week to complete their segment, so if you recieve it three days early you have three extra days to finish your bit. When it gets back to me I will send the finished chapter to everyone involved in writing it, and will then post it. All other participants can post in their own gallery or not as they so choose.
Again, this is not supposed to turn into a chore, so I'll neither crack whips nor pull chains. If you're wanting to finish a segment but need more time, no big deal. Life happens. ^^
Also, feel free to smack me if I left out something important that was mentioned in the last journal, or if you've an idea on how to improve the process/experience.
