6/3/12 Back From Vacation! Carmageddon4, Photoshop7?

Well, we just got back a few hours ago from our yearly vacation where we see Anj's parents from La Pine (bout 4 hours away) and her sister from Canada. We went to the beach, we hiked up and down a mountain after driving through winding turns around sheer drop-off cliffs next to the Pacific Ocean. We were celebrating Violet (my daughter)'s B'day with her cousin Claire's b-day, sense their both a month apart and it's a pain to get her entire family together. We camped on the beach (though had to borrow the couch of the in-laws hotel cause of the condensation from a crappy tent). Also had some good clam chowder from the coast where it's fresh. All in all, it was fun, though my entire weekend is gone.
Got back from work on Friday morning, cashed my check, drove there. After it was all said n done, drove back about 4 hours before work. Still tired n cramped from sprinting up and down a jagged rock mountain cliff. But ohhhh was it fun! I have to clean up and scan

's latest pics, upload, and continue those sets. Also, I have a few trades I'm super behind on that I have to start up, and there's a pic or two I want to do for myself, but all that will have to wait till I get home n sleep for awhile.

was trying to do some coloring again but a few problems came up. First, how can she select the brushes be sensitive to her tablet where it's either softer or darker depending on pressure instead of it being wider or thinner depending on pressure. Also, it seems to be really choppy. This might be a problem with the computer itself, but not entirely sure. If anyone has any advice (or has PhotoShop7 for download for her), it'd be really appreciated :D

As for Anj's problems with photoshop, she may want to make sure her drivers are up to date just in case a windows update kicked in. I had some issues myself rather recently and that fixed it. But just in case, make sure that she either has a pressure sensitive brush, or has pressure sensitivity turned on in the brush tool settings. It doesn't work for all brushes, but if she moves the opacity slider to 100% and then clicks on the pressure tab next to it, that should work.
Of course not all versions of Photoshop have that, but it's a good starting point to check on. All that aside, glad to see you're doing well, and best of luck with everyhing. =)
Select and make sure Other Dynamics is checked on, and the OPACITY is set to PEN PRESSURE.
