There were quite a few folks here who nudged me toward editing Chapter 2 of Aello, and posting the first part for everyone to read. I'm just about done so you should see it in the next couple of days. I figured I'd just give a heads up for what's to come. There's still lots more to go in Aello -- but I'm having fun with it, so it's a pleasure to work on. I've got the rest of the remaining chapters planned out, and all the characters solidified. I'm pleased with how it's coming along. Hopefully you'll enjoy reading as much as I've enjoyed writing. ^^

I do wish I could write faster. It's not so much getting the story down, it's more of the editing side that I stress over. I'm always over-examining things, second guessing myself, and fiddling with sentence structure and pacing. Of course, quality over quantity is best, but I used to write so much faster. I could whip out a ten page paper in under an hour. Yes, paper writing is different to story writing, and I've become faster than I used to be, but it's still something I hope to improve on.

The funny thing is, after I overcome one issue a new one pops up. Writing is so curious that way. I wonder what new issue I'll try to improve on in ten years time. I know I'll always be learning. Every new story I write teaches me something new.
