Kingdom hearts 3. I have a theory.

Sorry. Every time I say "I have a theory" that song pops into my head.
I think the reason we have been so long waiting for kh3 is because they are secretly working on a compilation, probably like kingdom hearts, chain of memories / 365-2, Kingdom Hearts 2, birth by sleep, maybe even kh3d, all to be released in HD on ps3 or else ps4..Or else sux box if thy really want to piss me off..
And then when they finally announce Kingdom Hearts 3, they will be like "Okay, so, we are working on this new addition to the series that we know our loyal fans have been waiting for for a very long time. <Ridiculously long time> And it might be another year before it's ready to come to market.......... In the mean time, I have this other thing I would like to announce, just to keep you busy in the mean time...and best of all, it will be out next month! <maybe>

Like, I love Kingdom Hearts, but if the series just ended tomorrow I'd be fine with it. It already makes as little sense as it possibly could.
I expected to get resolution in KH2 -- all it did was make everything worse. x3 After that, I stopped taking everything seriously.
I agree with that, and you're right, we have discussed that before. x3
...It would be neat if they would include some chrono cross and chrono trigger characters... kid would be neat... as would Surge...<worst roleplaying character name EVER "You know you are mis-pronouncing his name. - no I'm not. - uh huuuh, it's pronounced "sir-gay" - no it's not. - is too! - i can't hear you ballalalalalala" ahem. Anyway.>
Enix works on Dragon Quest. They have zero influence on Square.
If anything, Square has more influence on Enix. x3 (Although thankfully not too much, since Dragon Quest still has a minimal amount of games, one every few years, and is still awesome).

So yes, looking at it that way, the merger may have been the beginning of the downfall. But, of course, that's not Enix's fault.
Although despite all the chaos, Enix has been keeping me very happy where Square has been irritating me. Maybe Enix SHOULD start taking more of a part in Square's properties -- then again, I'd be afraid that that might somehow topple both of them.
Which would suck so hard. D:
