I'm so excited. On top of my Canon 60D body and EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.4 IS lens, I just bought a Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM and a 50mm f/1.4 USM lens. I also bought a Manfrotto tripod with the 055XPROB legs and 701HDV fluid head.

I know this is gibberish to almost everyone who will look at this journal, but I'm finally moving up to some semi-serious stuff here. I now have a lens fast enough to shoot indoors at low light (will be posting pictures of that soon), and a lens long enough to take pictures from a mid-far distance. I also have a seriously nice tripod. I'm excited. I now feel equipped enough to do a job. All I'm missing is an external flash, but I don't like using those anyway. (that don't mean it isn't on my list of to-buys though..) Hopefully I can start putting up advertisements or my parent's friends will maybe need someone to do some camera work. Maybe make back some money to pay this stuff off, or pay off my student loans.

On a side note: For anyone in the Arkansas area who is looking for pictures done, I'd be more than happy to give it a shot. Animals, people, events, whatevers, just send me a note.
