Scratched my Cintiq :C
Long story short:
-kitchen renovation caused a lot of fine chalkdust to flutter around the house
-fine dust came up in my room
-fine dust collected in a very fine layer on top of my screen, unnoticable when you come home in the evening and draw in a not-so-well-lit room
-dust possibly stuck to my glove and the tip of my nib, scratched the glass surface of my Cintiq with a 7 cm long gouge, along with several smaller cuts
FUCK!
I can't even ignore it, it's -right there- in the middle of the screen, distorting the image :C
I am sad now... But I'll suck it up and live with it. This probably wouldn't be covered by warranty anyway because
a) normal wear-and-tear isn't covered
b) me not keeping the surface cleaned could be negligence.

The Cintiqs have a HORRIBLE track record for getting scratched, they've gone through a few design revisions on the screen surface and some revisions are better than others. But quite a few people have similar problems. It seems to be that the screen itself isn't the part getting scratched so easily, but rather the anti-glare coating. A few people have actually taken the time to remove the coating and had much less trouble with scratches.
If it were mine, if the scratching was bad, I would probably try to remove the anti-glare film, clean the screen good and then put a Zagg shield on it.
