Hmm, I havn't had an update in a while. but maybe it's ether something with your flash player, or your internet connection.

Try updating your flash player. It seems to not always like the older versions that much...

There was an update recently, I had to reinstall multiple times and restart multiple times till it got it right.

A bit of a hassle but once the update is done you might find you like the hassle worth it.

I got rid of firefox as it kept breaking my addons, now I use chrome for the past 2 years and no problems at all

I have had the same problems on both Firefox and Chrome. It seems to happen on any kind of streaming video/audio.

No idea what the deal is, I know all my driver are up to date!

It's flash. I'm having problems with it too. Flash and Javascript don't respond properly in Firefox for some reason. My computer is crappy though and runs on XP. Don't know about yours.

I have the same issue with chrome on FA, but only on FA so I dont really mind.

the problem is. i use FA for about 4-5 hours a day.
thats a 'good chunk' of not working for me. i get frustrated.

although it is working right now, not sure why.

Well what version do you have? Firefox updates all the time and I don't notice until it gets buggy and then I update it..

However I only experienced a similar problem when my laptop is swapping like crazy or I set the video quality too high.

Firefox only goes slow for me when steam or anything else updates a game <o.o> same problems when it happens, videos load slowly, slow connection, etc. is there anything in the background that's causing it to slow down?

I had similar problems on my older computer after I updated flash

I know Flash has been causing problems lately. Firefox is at 14.1 and I downloaded what seemed to be the most current version for Flash at adobe.com

I would like to point out that there is a hidden "Temp" folder that stores a copy of every program you install. Not an exact clone. Just the stuff for installing purposes. In any case, try deleting this folder: C:\Users\[whatever your user name is for the system]\AppData\Local\Temp

Normally, this folder is flagged as hidden so you will have to click on Folder Options in the control panel. In that window, go to the View tab then look for the radio button named "Show hidden files, folders and drives". You can hide it again afterwards if you want.

This suggestion is for freeing up hard drive space more than anything else. But you never know, it might make things run better =)

i clean my temp folder all the time. and my HD is solid state. it's not a hardware problem.
'waterfox' seems to be much better then 'firefox'

had same problems last week were videos were taking to long to load and play funny thing is that it was only youtube and not any other site.

xtube does the same thing for me.

Firefox has been unstable for me of late, not playing videos on several sites, some sites not working at all, crashing every other minute along with freezing, not sure what happened, taking a break and using Chrome full time going to see if it does that thing with FA you spoke of.

waterfox is working awesome. i highly recommend it if you have a 64bit system.

Normally I love Firefiox, now thinking about it I started having issues once I started using another system with 32bit. IE9 was not much better on this current system, crashing far too often, so far Chrome is stale, I am sure to see Firefox again once I know it will work correctly.

So far I never had any problems lately w/Mozilla FireFox.

firefox seems to work ok for me atm.

I use Aurora, its made by FireFox, but without the RAM usage and it doesn't have the same issues. Never had an issue with it so far, however I'm going to check out waterfox.

I always had trouble with videos, Firefox or Chrome. I always figured it was because I had an old 32 bit computer, (AMD Athlon 1900+, 768MB RAM), and a nearly-as-old graphics card, (Geforce 5500), that was only just up to the job and that using Ubuntu 10.04 instead of Windows. (This is why Waterfox is out for me, the old processor I mean.) I could get it to work fairly smoothly at the lowest resolution YT had. These days my flash player is just plain broken... it stopped working after Chrome updated, oddly enough... I've been trying for weeks to get it fixed. It's almost a relief to know I'm not alone!

Yes, I'm having the same problem as well. All my youtube and netflix has to be watched on IE or it gets all messed up. Something isn't working with firefox and flash.

I haven't had problems yet. If anything, it's Flash that's crashing.

I fully uninstalled Adobe Flash and reinstalled it - seemed to help for me

Mine's been doing the same thing when playing Youtube videos in full screen, but I never update Firefox so it shouldn't be an update issue. I'm still running Firefox 3.0.19.
