Family can be complicated, but you gotta remember they love you and even though you may make choices that they don't agree with, they still care. For now, just wait it out. If you think they are acting this way because you're a furry now, just lay low. They'll get over it sooner or later. If they don't that's their problem, not yours.

But this is different.I have been laying low for months but every time we have a family get together some how the topic goes right to me wanting to be a furry.It's really starting to bug me now.

Well then accept it, they're trying to get you to change your mind about it, let them know (POLITY!) that you are a furry and it doesn't matter what others think as long as you're happy with yourself. I had to sit my parents down, explain what a furry was and show them that yes it can be a disgusting fandom, but it's something I love and I refuse to be in the adult section of this fandom until I'm old enough to make that decision, the seemed cool with it, so don't shy away from their talking! Embrace it! Stay positive! Don't let their thoughts drag you down.
