Yea, if you mention a fetish/topic, you'd at least better mention it. Otherwise it's false advertisement, and can only be detrimental to your readership. Those reading the story, expecting (in this case) infidelity, and getting... a bland and practically vanilla (poorly written) porn scene... isn't going to be happy. And those who might have enjoyed the bland and practically vanilla porn scene would never click on it in the first place, due to the reference to infidelity in the title.

This is why I rage on proper tagging of submissions here on FA.

But improper tagging makes stories a SURPRISE! Like SURPRISE!, eight-year old in a garter belt and nothing else!

Somebody somewhere said that we shouldn't dwell on missed opportunities, but I think an exception can certainly be made here. I agree, that if you introduce a thematic element, you should work all the way through it, not necessarily to some conclusion, but at least to some kind of satisfaction or justification. So many elements of personal relations that could be used, but entirely forgotten. Yes, they're having sex, but why? Those are things that could get very interesting, if only you work through them.

Porn asks what. Erotica asks why.

And that is why I like to think that I write anthropomorphic erotica...or at least, I like to call it that.
