Hey. FA. Plox give back custom thumbnails in message center.

Or at least, is there some kind of a blacklist feature, so that I can only see some of the things that certain artists I follow draw, according to content-based criteria?
What I am saying is, I follow artists, and I like some of the things they draw, but sometimes, I load up my new submissions messages, and
POOP.
IN EXTREME DETAIL.
This is not what I follow him for, but it is what he draws sometimes, and I would not mind this as much if there were some kind of way that an artist could decide "I don't think the shrunken version of this image is fair to people who are browsing my gallery at random, or only share some of my interests, I had better replace it with an image that contains a brief textual description of the aspects that some people could find objectionable, so that viewers can make an informed decision about whether to look at it, without squinting at the thumbnail until the horror sets in."
What's that, memories of before the site redesign? Oh? Oh, really?
:|
(Also I totally have obligations and I'm sorry about that. I can't focus on them now, busy trying to graduate in the face of burnout and receiving no feedback whatsoever, one day before a deadline, about a week after soliciting feedback and scheduling info :D *shot*)
