Back to Japan in October

So Korea was pretty cool! A bit tougher getting around without knowing the language, but all in all it was a great experience. Got to visit the DMZ and peer in to North Korea, which was an experience.
As for a couple of the last photos I posted, we took another trip up to Saipan last week, and then hopped on over to Tinian for a night. Tromped around in the jungle looking at the WWII remains there and photographed some birds. Spent a couple of nights just relaxing on Saipan and looking for MORE birds.
Also, in October
pardalote42 and I are going to Japan again, this time to visit a friend's wedding! This should be exciting! Going to take about of week and travel around a LITTLE bit, mostly seeing Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto, then maybe heading back up to Tokyo to leave from there. Don't want to get TOO ambitious, I prefer to travel in a more relaxed mode. Anyway, hopefully will get some good photos in Japan this time.
Also, slowly starting to get back into socializing with people a bit more. Been out of the loop for too long and I feel like I've forgotten how. Always looking to make new friends and reconnect with old ones, so feel free to say hullo! I used to go by Ironpaw and hang out on Yerf and around the forums of Untitled! the webcomic, if you recognize me from any of those places.

I did go to Seoul, among other places. I didn't visit the fish market proper, but many of the markets I visited had fresh fish (and other things) in them, including some stranger things like Cuttlefish and Hagfish. >.> I also when to a few tiny islands where all they do is fish, and their cuisine was almost entirely ocean based. I should have gone to the fish market in Tokyo when I was there (it's pretty famous) but I never seem to have enough time...
