It wouldn't be plagerisum unless you claimed the character was you're own, then you'd be in trouble. But since you said it was not your own character, then you'd be safe posting it so long as you give credit where it is due. Something like this would most likely be labled as 'fan art'.

so like doing the copyrighted thing for the char but saying the actuall art work is my own will be safe?

*nods* Yeah, I do stuff like that a lot for fanart or trades. So long as you say who the character belongs to and that you did the artwork you're fine.

Hey no worries.. we all start somewhere in what we know and learn.. Just gotta remember that whenever you draw something you credit yourself for drawing it.. but also to remmeber to Credit the character to its original copyrighted owner
