Guild Wars 2 is closing in.

UMPH!
I've been spending hours in the old Guild Wars the past few days after a friend helped me and got me to use a different line-up for my Heroes, now I've been breezing through content and unlocking several items in the Hall of Monuments to use in GW2.
And to think I quit playing GW years ago because I found it too hard and I had no concept of skill synergy, something the game relies heavily on. >.<
Anyway, I'll end up playing on European servers, server name: Piken Square.
Dalehan the Human Thief, away!

Your home server is just that, a home server. You can't join guilds from outside your home server and can't participate to WvWvW outside of your home server, but you will be able to guest (not at launch but soon enough) on different servers (US or EU) for PvE and structured PvP with your friends from all over the world.

Thank goodness Guild Wars 2 is worth it.
Factions, I only finished it 2 days ago while trying to complete the event they have running to celebrate GW2's upcoming release. It's short, but it's alright I guess.
Nightfall, I'm nearly finishing that campaign. another alright expansion, though so much sand.
Eye of the North... Plenty more diversity, I like the characters and the Asura. If I wasn't so dead set on making a human thief as my main to keep the Dalehan spirit alive, I'll roll one as my "main" alt without doubt in GW2.
Frankly, I'm only aiming to get the most accesible HoM rewards for now.
Small stress test today
So after rolling about doing all the quests on my lonesome for awhile, I got bored and dropped it. :c
What is an MMORPG if you've got no friends to play it with..
Making friends in GW seems considerably harder because you'll never meet someone if you're not spending all of your time looking for groups in the outposts. ;C Plus I'm terrible at making new friends in games, so.. yeah. ;C
I think the problems i had was that a large amount of clans were simply inactive, only a few friends who actually plays it was already at endgame content...also the glaring issue of Insignias, those things are hellishly expensive and inventories generally fills up quickly however you could simply log in and out tons of times to move items to other characters.
Plus there's the fact that chances are my Hall of Monuments is probably barren.
Just got too much on my plate to stick another MMO into my schedule these days, i just play Runescape, World of Warcraft and Kingdom of Loathing.
not sure which server im on yet
Stuff I need are armor sets and hero armor statues. And finish up 3 more campaigns and their master challenges... not sure if I'll continue with it right now though!
Though that does remind me of how ectos are now 6k while rubies, sapphires, diamonds, and obby shards are all 11k o.O Weird that here at the 'end' of the game how those economic prices have shifted.
