Super Metroid......a classic

oh man that game rocks. I wAnt to get the trilogy

Out of all the Metroid games, Other M is a game I consider a technological flop. However, I will make the $5 purchase of the game because I'm a collector of ALL Metroid games. I havn't played it yet, so I can't make a solid opinion of it yet other than the drastic price drop in the initial first week release and the bad reviews I've seen in it, not to mention that doing so will give me the ability to properly pick it apart.

Other M wasn't bad, the prime and super metroid I thought where the best.

Wouldn't it be better to pay for the VC release and play it on a Wii to show developer support?

Yes it would, but unfortunately I don't own a Wii yet. I DO own the original copy for the SNES, but it's in storage 379.78 miles away along with the system. So my quetsion would be to this question, why buy two copies of the same game when I can play the original on the original system or play a ROM version of the game on my desktop with a customised controller (Wiimote with emulated control input) and different variations of the game, like only having the Grapple Beam as a weapon, playing the entire game without the Varia Suit or Gravity Suit, or playing the game with all the graphic layers except "living" sprites turned off? I have a Wiimote because I cleaned out a house, by the way, not because I have a Wii. But if I DID have a Wii, how would I stream the gameplay without buying a $300 converter or hacking the system itself? Sorry if this answer makes anyone upset, it shouldn't.

RE: Streaming: This depends on your setup, but you most likely don't need $300 to stream it.

But if there are variations of the Wii VC version built into the ROM, or a tool to modify the game to make it harder or different, I'd buy it.
