Throughout VST I am always going to be considering buying votes, and even a few could swing things either way. I totally don't expect random strangers to buy votes or anything, but if you are considering getting $5 worth and you're thinking "Nah, there's no point, Muirne's way behind/ahead", remember that it may make all the difference.

Honestly this makes me pretty sad. Out of the 164 votes, 120 of them were purchased. That's 3/4 of all votes. Additionally, the guy made a buck off of each one. That's over a hundred dollars. So in short, this prick is profiting (obscenely) off of what is inevitably going to become (if it isn't already) a festering black hole of drama.

I'm sorry. But it offends me. It offends me greatly.

Er yeah, there hasn't been any drama, I doubt there will be, and this is how auctions work. It's a great model because the person who originally buys into the competition gets in pretty cheap, extra expenditure by anyone is entirely voluntary, it allows crowdsourcing of payment (instead of one person paying $60, it could be 12 people paying $5), the artist makes a good profit, and everyone else gets to enjoy some awesome art for, potentially, free. Win-win-win.

Not sure whether it's voluntary vote-purchasing or speculated imaginary future-drama which is offending you, but they shouldn't.
