We can't all agree the bras are just a degree unnecessary? The panties, the stockings, even the garters and corsets and other fancy stuff you can argue for. You don't have to even, they're sexy. But don't the bras just look a tad silly? I mean maybe if it's some big chubby feller dressing up and he honestly needs the support, that'd be sexy. But on a flat-chested twink? What is it doing there? What purpose does it serve? Are pansies shy about their nipples?

Feminine in nature, feminine looking, etc = femboi, girlyboi
So, if someone looks feminine, acts feminine, or you mistake them to be a female. Any of these things and they are a femboi or girlyboi

Dressing in female clothing, such as bras and corsets and the likes = Crossdresser

So many fembois and girlybois crossdress so the terminology tends to get mixed up.

Semantics. The two terms are closely familiar to each other without negative intent on either part that no one should really be offended by the misuse.

Not only does the bra look silly, but I think a cute boy should show off his chest. There are plenty of other frilly tops that are there to make him prettier. A bra is just unnecessarily obfuscating.

I thought part of the point of cross dressing was the sexualized emasculation. The bra is just part of the outfit. I don't think women's clothing was ever designed to be practical, even on women. X)

I don't think the whole "bras aren't useful or helpful on males" is a good argument to use. Crossdressing isn't exactly about being practical or functional, it's about what looks pretty! So if you don't like how it looks, say so, but arguing that males don't need bras because they don't need them is missing or ignoring the point a little.

I personally think "to each their own." If you like wearing them, fine. If not, that's fine too. Live and let live!

I agree with this. I think the point of crossdressing--a pastime in which I do not myself indulge, but which I seem to know a lot of people who do--is to make YOURSELF feel pretty. A lot of crossdressers are wearing their lingerie and frilly things under their normal clothes, and no one ever knows it except them. An EMT friend of mine used to collect stories about burly men who were in accidents and were later found to have on ladies things under their jeans.
